DISCOVER
FRANCESCO COLUCCI

Francesco is a passionate visual artist; with inspirations that range from Italian cinema and costume designers to designers such as John Galliano and Alexander McQueen to performance artist Leigh Bowery, he has crafted a distinct and unorthodox aesthetic that delights and inspires. Using whatever garments and cast-offs that get donated and collected, the artist constructs ensembles for his mannequins that experiment with layering, textiles, volume, and shape, finding new and unconventional uses for clothes and other artefacts.

Through his exceptional creativity, Colucci has created a trademark identity that centres on and promotes sustainability, self-expression, and reinvention. His style blends couture and avant-garde, creating an elegant vision through elaborate yet harmonious compositions.
Francesco graduated from the Accedemia di Belle Arti di Rome in 2006, and moved to London in 2009, where he gained visibility and recognition for his visual installations. His work has been featured in international publications including Vogue, Le Monde, and More or Less, and he has recently collaborated with renowned photographer Tim Walker – an admirer of Francesco’s work.
